ELECTRONICS
Long gone are the days when travelers had paper maps, film cameras and gave news by letter! Electronics are there and the development of the cellular network all over the world makes Internet access and electronic gadgets ever more accessible.
We are no exception to the rule and leave with a whole panoply of objects, not in order to stay connected but to immortalize the moments and facilitate the trip.
PHOTO - VIDEO
Essential for sharing and keeping track of good and beautiful moments, we go with compact cameras (Sony, small model), phones (Iphones) that allow you to capture images at all times without impressing with a big lens.
We store all these beautiful shots on the Cloud so you don't have to worry about a hard drive that could get damaged or stolen.
We are also leaving with a small drone (250g) which will allow us to take some aerial shots with the bikes. We hope not to have any problems with the local authorities of the countries, the drone can be taken as a nuisance item.
OFFICE
We will leave with the MacBook air, with these 13 inches and its 1 kg, it is very discreet and will allow us to sort the photos, upload them to the cloud and why not watch movies if the occasion allows it!
We are leaving after many years of work and this computer will allow us to solve the administrative problems of the transition.
NAVIGATION
For navigation, we start with classic navigation applications and accessible free of charge on mobiles. Our phones equipped with Maps.Me will take us to the end of the world! We will not prohibit ourselves from buying a few cards on the way, especially in countries where information is lacking.
Adding a basic KM counter on the bike will track the distances traveled and share them with our friends and acquaintances.
RECHARGE
But all this beautiful material, it must be replaced?
And yes ! For that we have the dynamo wheel, but that will not be enough! The solar panels will help a little as well as the auxiliary batteries (powerBank) recharged AC and LA. Finally, we will not escape the traditional electrical outlet at our hosts to top it all up!
But let's keep in mind that the equipment is only superfluous and in the event of flat batteries, all you have to do is pedal!
